The Rutland Bookshop is a family run business, established in 1979.  It carries a varied stock: English literature, general fiction including detective fiction, children’s, topography, natural history, gardening, fishing, shooting, hunting, agriculture, farriery, history including military history, architecture, public school histories, theology and much more!

We pride our selves on a personal service enabling the sweet serendipity that goes hand in hand with the joy of browsing the shelves of a second hand and antiquarian bookshop.
