Uppingham Explore Project 2025
We are excited to share details about the Uppingham Explore Project, a fantastic initiative designed to showcase everything this charming Market Town has to offer. Uppingham is known for its rich history, vibrant independent shops, stunning architecture and welcoming community, making it the perfect destination for visitors looking for a unique shopping and cultural experience.
As part of the Uppingham Explore experience, we are also offering a fascinating tour and lecture on Uppingham School, led by the school archivist. It’s a rare opportunity to delve into the history of one of the UK’s most distinguished schools and learn how it has shaped the town’s heritage.
The visiting dates are as follows:

- Friday, 28th March
To make visiting even easier, we’re providing free coach and bus transport from designated pick-up points at specific times. However, spaces are limited, so we encourage everyone to pre-book their spot with Uppingham Town Council by calling 01572 822681 or emailing townclerk@uppinghamtowncouncil.gov.uk.
